Stockinette stitch: 24 sts and 34 rows/rnds = 10 cm/4 in, with larger needle(s)

Garter stitch: 24 sts and 36 rows/rnds = 10 cm/4 in, with larger needle(s)

1x1 rib: 26 sts and 38 rows/rnds = 10 cm/4 in, with smaller needle(s)

Needles and Notions

• 3.5 mm and 3.25 mm (US #4 and #3) circular needles, 60-80 cm/24-32 in long, depending on size of sweater

• 3.5 mm and 3.25 mm (US #4 and #3) needles in your preferred style for knitting small circumferences
