Random Scrappy Stripes - knitting pattern
Enjoy 15% off with the code THUMB. Valid until December 28th.
The fingerless mittens are knit starting from the thumb that is shaped with short rows at its base. The hand is worked around the thumb, forming a square. When it reaches the desired width, the square is folded and its two sides are joined on the bind-off row.
The mittens are worked in irregular stripe pattern and are a perfect way to use small amounts of yarn left over from other projects: I made mine with tiny balls of Miss Babs Yowza.
