Liesel - sweater knitting pattern

Liesel is designed for DK weight yarn (I made mine with Miss Babs Yowza in the Oyster colourway) and is easy to customize. The pattern gives you suggested body lengths for a short (a little below the waist) and a hip-length sweater, but the instructions are written in a way allowing you to change the length. There are three sleeve options: short, long wider (shown here) and long fitted. 

All charts have been translated into written instructions - you will find them on page 4.

To be worn with 3-10 cm/1-4 in of positive ease at chest. Shown in size 4 with 8 cm/3 in of positive ease (long sleeve, short body version) and in size 3 with 2 cm/0.75 in positive ease (short sleeve, short body version).

Gauge (blocked) 

Stockinette stitch: 21 sts and 28 rows/rnds = 10 cm/4 in, with larger needle(s) 

8-st lace panel is 3.5 cm/1.5 in wide, with larger needle 

20-st back panel is 9.5 cm/3.75 in wide, with larger needle 

1x1 rib pattern: 21 sts and 32 rows/rnds = 10 cm/4 in, with smaller needle(s)
