25 Hearts Cowl features a heart pattern on moss stitch background. Made in worsted weight yarn (Malabrigo Rios), the cowl is warm and makes an interesting and fast knit. The instructions are given in both chart and written format and the size can be easily adjusted.
Patterns for matching mittens and a hat (Heart Mittens and Heart Hat) are available.

Size
Circumference: 70 cm/28 in.
Height: 28.5 cm/11.5 in.

Gauge (blocked)
Moss Stitch: 19 sts and 26 rows = 10 cm/4 in, with larger needle.
Heart Pattern: 1 pattern repeat of 26 sts and 20 rows measures 14 cm/5.5 in wide and 7.5 cm/3 in high, with larger needle.

Yarn
300 m/330 yds of Malabrigo Rios (100% merino wool, 192 m/210 yds per 100g, in Ravelry Red) or similar worsted weight yarn.

Needles and Notions

• 5 mm (US #8) and 4.5 mm (US #7) circular needles, 60 cm/24 in long,
• 1 stitch marker,
• scrap yarn,
• tapestry needle.
