Wonky Rib Hat is worked bottom up, in the round, starting with a provisional cast on which is later finished with a stretchy bind off so that you can make sure the edge is flexible but not too tight. An interesting combination of vertical and horizontal ribbing is used, with crown decreases incorporated in the rib. The pattern has instructions for 3 sizes, from toddler to adult, and contains both written instructions and charts.
