Wellwater Hat combines lace and cables creating interesting texture. It is worked bottom up, starting with provisional cast-on. When the provisional cast-on is removed, the brim is finished with an attractive stretchy bind-off. There are two sizes: the smaller size fits a child with up to 53 cm/21 in head (approximately 3-10 years), the larger size fits an average adult head.

Cable and lace pattern: 1 pattern repeat of 16 sts and 20 rows is 7 cm/2.75 in wide and 6.2 cm/2.5 in high, with larger needle(s).

Yarn
180 (220) m/200 (240) yds of worsted weight yarn. Shown in Malabrigo Rios (100% merino wool, 192 m/ 210 yds per 100g, Water Green colourway). For best results use smooth yarn with good stitch definition.
